23-year-old Wazir Benson Chacha Masubo was arrested and detained at the Muthinga police station in his hideout in Tarime Tanzania after he was accused of extorting money from Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators.

Chacha had been hiding in Tanzania before his arrest as he was waiting for his documents before he could move to Zanzibar where he had rented a house and made payments for an entire year.

According to the police the suspect was also involved in sexual relations with over thirteen female MPs and other senior government officials.

Chacha is also said to have CCTV footage showing every secret detail between him and the alleged female MPs.

In February 2018, photos of former Bomet County Women Representative Cecilia Ngetich in bed (above) with Chacha surfaced on the internet.
