Turkish club Besiktas has reportedly terminated the contract of their goalkeeper, Emirhan Delibas, because the player has a profile on a dating application.
Reports of a dating profile circulated on the internet with a picture of the youngster and his name, although with a different age.
The goalkeeper only recently turned 21 years old, but the profile on the dating application stated he is 24 years old.
However, the club’s official statement does not mention why the decision was made.
“We have parted ways with professional football player Emirhan Delibaş by mutual agreement. We wish Emirhan Delibaş success in his future career and present it to the public. Regards. Besiktas JK,” reads the statement.
