There is a common phrase that men are few, so if God blesses you with one, hold on to him at all costs. We can’t verify this, but what happened at Pastor Joseph Serwadda’s church in Ndeeba on Friday might provide proof that men are scarce.

During the Friday night prayers at Victory Christian Church, the session turned dramatic for over 30 minutes after a woman entered dressed in a wedding gown.

Seemingly shocked, Pastor Serwadda, who was presiding over the night service, asked what was going on.

“I do not understand what is happening because Ugandan laws do not allow a church wedding after 7 pm,” Serwadda remarked.

One of the ushers informed him that the woman had come to church to be prayed for so she could find a husband.

The pastor, who applauded the woman for her boldness, invited her to the front amidst loud cheers from the attendees. He prayed for her and declared that she would get married before this year ends.
