KCCA had halted the plan in late 2013 when Ham started construction, after agreeing with Nakivubo Stadium management on the development.

At the time Ham’s plans were halted, KCCA was still reviewing his plan.

Now president Museveni has endorsed the project and work will go on.

According to the deal, Ham will manage the stadium for an initial four years with a one year grace period of not remitting income to Nakivubo Stadium management, to recover his investment.
