Despite being under intensive care at Norvik Hospital located along Bombo Road, Prof. Lawrence is responding positively to the treatment.

“My father is alive and undergoing treatment,” said the academic proprietor’s daughter Maria Mukiibi. She has rubbished rumours which have been circulating on social media announcing his death.

Mukiibi got involved in a nasty accident yesterday at Nabbingo along Kampala – Masaka Road as he was branching to enter the Horizon Campus gate at St. Lawrence; his car was knocked down by a speeding double cabin pick-uo.

He was first rushed to Lubaga Hospital where his condition continued to worsen thus necessitating transfer to Norvik Hospital where he is still receiving treatment.
