Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has come out to save Esther Nassazi a woman who had been detained at the Central Police Station with her four children. On Monday this very week, this woman refused to vacate the offices of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) claiming that the authority must take care of her family since they are responsible for the destruction of her business where she used to get money to educate and look after the children.

Today Hon. Nsereko donated Shs4m to Nassaazi to help her take her children back to school and to also set up a new business. “When I saw her on the news with her children in the rain and at the police station, I was touched and decided to come out. No parent in life would like to stay out with her children in the rain, in the cold looking for what to do,” the MP said.

Nassaazi has been in the news since Monday when she carried her mattress and the entire family to camp near the main entrance of KCCA headquarters.
