Pope blesses youth minister Nakiwala in Vatican

Youth and Children Affairs Minister Florenc Nakiwala Kiyingi had the rare opportunity of being blessed by Pope Francis in Vatican earlier this week.

Nakiwala who was part of a group of people on a pilgrimage to Rome sat in Mass conducted by the Pontiff and was later blessed in St. Peter’s square.

Nakiwala who is also the Chairperson of Express FC was humbled by the opportunity of coming face to face with the Pope.

The Pope visited Uganda in late 2015 and was glad to learn that Nakiwala is from the Pearl of Africa.
