It’s a sad day for the family and friends of socialite Luckisha Val as she has succumbed to cancer after a very long, painful battle at Case Clinic.

Luckisha a niece to Gareth Onyago’s lover Nickita Bachu, has been battling a brain infection and has been in intensive care for months.

Fellow socialites, friends and relatives recently teamed up in what they dubbed the #SaveLuckishaVal campaign, through which they were able to fundraise up to Shs59m of the 64,9m that was needed to save their loved one’s life. The team led by some of Luckisha’s close relatives was able to pull off the car wash fundraiser at Kololo gardens a few weeks ago.
