Former state minister for information technology Nyombi Thembo  today explained that the Omusinga Wesley Charles Mumbere  was not arrested but rather captured from his palace.

According to a police report, there had been a vain phone call discussion where President Museveni tried to order his royal guards to put down their weapons before retaliation from the UPDF officers occurred.

While in a discussion regarding the  Kasese clashes  today on NBS television, Nyombi said the  government cannot produce an accountability of the lives lost.

Atkins Katusabe MP from Kasese also disapproved reports that the president failed to negotiate with Mumbere  in his phone call.
