Isn’t this the worst thing to happen to anybody in January? Traders in Kisenyi market are counting loses after fire gutted over 20 shops and items worth millions of shillings today morning.

According to the traders, the fire incident which occurred earlier today consumed various shop items including timber and food stuffs.

Vendors at the scene allege unidentified city tycoons are behind the fire outbreak following reports of land grabbing scandal that targeted the market land. Police arrived at the scene and investigations into the cause are going on.
