Byanyima was today expected to appear at the police’s Special Investigation Division in Kireka over allegations of promoting sectarianism and incitement of violence after she allegedly pointed fingers at Acholi soldiers.

Byanyima had been summoned through a letter addressed to her from the acting deputy director special Investigations Division, Henry Mugumya calling her to report to police today morning.

After Byanyima accused the late Akena’s family of being in the know about Kanyamunyu’s Father death, Akena’s family paraded a team of lawyers who wrote to the Inspector General of Police demanding for investigation of Byanyima’s comments.

Kenneth Akena was allegedly shot to death by Mathew and Joseph Kanyamyu and Cynthia Munwangari after he scratched their car. The trio is up to now detained at Luzira prison.
