It is not only the tuition fees escalating. A Ugandan girl named Florence Nakayaki was murdered in Bangalore, India after she hiked her rates over rise in demand. According to the Bangalore Mirror, Florence worked as a call girl (read elite prostitute) and was murdered during argument over money for the sexual favour.

It is said one Ishan picked her along a road after agreeing to pay her an amount of Rs5000 (about Shs270,000) after which they went to Florence’s house where Ishan’s friend joined them.

Seeing another person, Florence allegedly doubled the amount and that started the argument between them. Indians love a good bargain so the two of them wanted to enjoy for the price of one.

It further led to a knife attack by Florence on Ishan, who was at the risk of missing out after the law of the jungle set in. Ishan then attacked the girl with the same knife and killed her.

“When police reached the spot, other nationals from Uganda who had gathered there, allegedly attacked them and the locals,” theBangalore Mirror reported.

Several Ugandan girls have been reported dead in similar incidences with some being victims of unscrupulous labour export agencies.

The police arrested Ishan and further investigations.
