Rowdy MPs gave no ear to FDC’s mobilisation secretary Ingrid Turinawe during the ongoing EALA campaign speeches before the 10th Parliament. She struggled to speak and be heard above the noise from Members of Parliament.

MPs insisted that Turinawe is ill mannered were seen holding placards and chanting ‘’No pigs here’’ as they blocked her from speaking.

Amidst the MPs chanting, Turinawe shouldered on.

“I stand for the cause of my country and nobody can stop me, I came here expecting what you are doing, a pig is a pig. I have exposed who you are on national television, I am a winner,” she said.

Turinawe had earlier been withdrawn from the EALA race by her party.

FDC President Mugisha Muntu wrote to the Speaker of Parliament withdrawing her candidature, but Turinawe defied her party and went ahead to contest.
