City lawyer Fred Muwema is embroiled in the proverbial “dog and bone” game with Facebook as he has once again hauled the social media giant to court challenging Justice Donald Binchy’s decision to protect the identity of Tom Voltaire Okwalinga (TVO).

Muwema, on Monday through his lawyers, Lavelle Solicitors based at St. James House Adelaide Road, Dublin, wedged an appeal at Court of Appeal in Ireland. In his appeal, Muwema seeks court to order Facebook to reveal TVO rejecting Mr Justice Binchy’s findings almost a month ago in which the Judge refused to do no such thing.

In case you haven’t been following the story, the legal battle between Muwema and Facebook started in the aftermath of February 2016 Presidential Elections. Muwema dragged Facebook to court to seek an order to reveal TVO after his controversial claims that he (Mwema) had been bribed  Shs900 million to stage-manage a break-in at his chambers in Kololo. Facebook protested the order sighting evidence of gross human rights violations.

Almost a year later, on Febuary 9th 2017, Court through Justice Binchy finally found it unnecessary for Facebook to reveal TVO’s identity however, ordered that he (TVO) put down the posts that offended the lawyer. Mwema did not take the decision very well and hence seeking an appeal.
