While speaking at the vigil of fallen AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Sofia Namutebi commonly known as Maama Fiina disclosed to mourners that it is Kaweesi who gave her support when her husband Major Kiggundu was murdered in a similar manner.

“It was Kaweesi who counseled me when I lost my husband”,  Maama Fiina told the mourners. Maama Fiina was one of those who rushed to the scene of the crime where Kaweesi and other two officers were gunned down.

“In such a situation, nothing can relieve the late Kaweesi’s wife but its only God who can help her through this condition”, she addressed the mourners.

In November last year, Maama Fiina lost her husband Major. Mohammed Kiggundu in a similar manner. Maj. Kiggundu was gunned down together with his bodyguard Sgt. Steven Mukasa at Masanafu, a Kampala suburb. The two were driving to the city in a UPDF pick-up truck.
