In every corner around town, there is a street preacher. Both males and females are part of this daring way to spread the gospel albeit a gathering or interested parties. They are not moved by the lack of a crowd or swift traffic.

All that could soon be no more. KCCA has issued a warning to the public to desist from the practice.

“Without further warning, KCCA will start to arrest and prosecute in Courts of Law among others street preachers, unapproved mobile advertising screens and individuals caught pasting unapproved posters/banners”, the statement reads in part.

Uganda is a largely Christian nation with over 84% of the population loyal to Christian religion. Christians are taught that it is their duty to spread the gospel to all parts of the world.

We await to see how this goes.
