NRM has very many people who can be leaders and President Museveni knows it — Capt. Francis Babu rejects age limit amendment

Senior member of NRM party Captain Francis Babu is not one of those leaders in support of presidential age limit amendment.  While on an interview with NBS TV, Babu disclosed that many people around president Museveni are eager to take key leadership roles.

“NRM has very many people who can be leaders and President Museveni knows about it,” Former minister explained.

However, Babu revealed some members in the party are keeping the president in power of their own personal safety.

“There are people in government who don’t want the status quo to change because they want political stability. This is because they want political security,” he stated.

Babu suggested that age limit must not be lifted by rather re-amend the term limits to two terms.
