The Executive Director Uganda Media Centre, Ofwono Opondo has responded to reports of grenades exploding at homes of legislators that are against the lifting of the presidential age limit. He described the reports as “fake news” and says opposition elements could have acquired the explosives to frame government.

“Flash bang grenades at opposition MPs’ residences could be own scare tactics to frame government. Flash bang grenades are used for training purposes, not harmful. Some opposition elements could have acquired them”, he stated.
