Police has banned Kyandondo East MP and popular singer Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from performing at music shows pending investigation. The Police alleges that he uttered “inciteful words” at his concert over the weekend.

The singer had been slated to perform in Mukono, Colline Hotel.

The response from Police comes after a request by music promotions company, Balunywa Promotions Ltd which had sought Police permission and also security during the event as it is the norm.

“Hon. Bobi Wine has been denied permission to hold a music show; he uttered words that are inciteful” during last concert at his One Love Beach in Busabala”, the letter read in part.

The show was due to be held at Colline Hotel, Mukono.
