Court in Rukungiri has granted non cash bail to former FDC president Dr. Kizza Besigye and colleagues; Ingrid Turinawe, Patrick Oboi Amuriat and Tashobya Innocent.  This comes after a week long wait following their arrest last week as the group was heading to Kabale.

Besigye and group have been charged with inciting violence. Before this ruling, they had been detained at Nagalama Police Station beyond the lawful  48 hours.
