Chaos has erupted in Parliament after Amuru District Woman MP Lucy Akello (FDC) told parliament that she found soldiers occupying the Catholic Chaplain. According to FDC’s Aswa county MP Reagan Okumu,Hon. Lucy Akello, who is the Chairperson of Catholic Community at Parliament had gone to asses the sanitary conditions of the chapel ahead of a visit by Archbishop Cyprian Lwanga tomorrow.

To her shock, she reportedly found soldiers in the camp. There were reportedly plastic bottles containing urine in the church which the soldiers were using. She allegedly tried to call for press but was scared away by the security operatives before she ran off to the Speaker. The chaplain was sealed by Police after MPs tried to verify the information. The soldiers were reportedly led to the National Theatre.
