Makerere University registers biggest number of students graduating in it’s history as 68th ceremony kicks-off today

Grandaunts to be decorated on the first day of the 68th Makerere University graduation ceremony have started flocking the University freedom square. The four-day event will see over 14,000 students graduate in various disciplines.

According to Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe, the university’s Vice Chancellor, this is the biggest number of students graduating at one congregation in the history of Uganda’s oldest and largest university.
