Police releases ‘Kifeesi’ gang leader ‘Ssobi’ Paddy Sserunjogi

Police has confirmed the release of ‘Kifeesi’ gang leader, Paddy Sserunjogi also known as Sobbi and his two other colleagues; Shafiq Kasozi and Twaha Tim.

 “We released Paddy Sserunjogi and two others arrested recently on bond as investigations into the allegations of murder and working with police officers in commission of crimes,” reads the statement from the Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima.

“This doesn’t stop the investigation and whoever has a complaint against the trio,” he added.

Kayima said that the group will be reporting back at KMP Headquarters on Friday next week.

Recently on Monday, Sobbi and colleagues were arrested while conducting an interview with NBS TV at Rose gardens in Kyengera. During the festive season the gang confessed live on the same station that with the help of police, they are responsible for terrorizing citizens around the city.
