NRM EC boss Tanga Odoi has hit back at the party’s Secretary General Kasule Lumumba for claiming that the ruling party has been hit by cash crisis. Earlier today,  Kasule Lumumba announced that the party was laying off over 419 workers.

“We have issues with payments, this is a restructuring process. We are laying off 132 administrative secretaries at the District level, assistant secretaries and 157 staff members at the headquarters,” she said.

However, Tanga Odoi has responded stating that the party was paying several ghost workers! He revealed that his office informed the party chairman president Museveni over the issue and he proposed a clean up process which is being implemented.

Tanga Odoi further stated that Kasule is better at mobilization but is a poor manager.

“Kasule is only good at dancing for votes. She is very good at mobilization however, she is not a good manager”, he stated.
