Despite refuting being an agent of the ruling party, veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda is a prevalent critic of the opposition camp. While appearing on the NBS TV Frontline Show yesterday Mwenda threw jabs at the opposition camp saying they are only emotional.

“The opposition in Uganda are emotional and not rational, these are people who are so desperate to listen to the echoes of their comfort.”

“Don’t enter my bedroom—stay in the compound,” Anita Among tells Norbert Mao as speakership race heats up; The DP president fires back: “You’ve insulted your father’s visitors—yet you’re also an adopted child”

“What amazes me about the opposition of Uganda is the degree to which they’re so committed to their stupidity and ignorance,” Mwenda stated.

According to Mwenda, the opposition is looking for reasons to justify their failure and hatred towards the ruling party. As expected, Mwenda faulted Dr Kizza Besigye saying; “The biggest de-campaigner for himself is Besigye, he campaigns against people registering saying Museveni will steal the vote.”
