State Lands Minister Persis Namuganza’s clan and family members have disowned her arguing that she is not a child of the late Christopher Mutyaba Nkono, former Royal Chief of Bukono Chiefdom.

“We are not brown women, we are not short women; all our children are black. There is a lot of differences between us and Namuganza and that is why we want a DNA test”, one family elder stated while addressing the press.
