It’s always good to showcase our achievements so that the public can know the wonderful side of police — Deputy IGP Sabiti Muzeeyi on Shs7.8b Nateete Police complex

Deputy IGP Brigadier Sabiti Muzeeyi yesterday toured the ongoing works at the Shs7.8b Nateete Police complex that is nearing completion.

Sabiti who was in company of fellow police delegation; AIGP. Edward Ochom (Director Research, Planning and Development),AIGP Hajji. Moses Balimwoyo(Director Human Resource Administration and Management),AIGP Dr. Steven Kasiima (Director Traffic and Road Safety), SCP. Richard Edyegu (Deputy Director Logistics and Engineering),CP. Moses Kafeero Kabugo (Kampala Metropolitan Police) among others applauded the ongoing works saying;

“It’s always good to showcase our achievements especially when we complete such projects so that the public can know the wonderful side of police.”

The three storied building comprises of 100 office units, five self-contained detention units, am exhibits room, a canteen and ample parking space.

Its construction started in 2010 following the President’s directive to have the original old station replaced, after it had been torched by rioters during the 2009 Buganda Kingdom Kayunga riots.
