With Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi now in the USA receiving treatment following the alleged torture at the hands of armed forces, government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo has joined  Bebe Cool in doubting the Bobi Wine’s ‘can’t walk’ claims.

“If you get into a fracas like one in Arua, you expect a scratch. Whether that scratch is intended or not is another issue. But he can’t claim he can’t walk yet he’s wearing shoes of 2kgs each,” explained Opondo said.

Opondo further refuted the alleged torture of Bobi Wine saying; “He could have been injured but that doesn’t definitively suppose that he was tortured. There’s no physical wound and no broken limbs. He’s feigning disability.”

On the continued protests especially in the City Centre, Opondo revealed that even failing businesses will make an excuse to blame their failure on the political situation.
