Controversial Makerere University researcher Dr. Stella Nyanzi is at it again! The outspoken lecturer cum human rights activist is threatening to organise thousand n3ked women to march and protest!

If her Facebook post is anything to go by, police will soon be stunned on how to deal with over 1,000 nak3d women on the streets! According to the post steeped in the bellows of poetry, Stella Nyanzi states that the protest will be non-partisan.

The march will be a demonstration against evils of the government and challenges in the society like high rate unemployment.

“I am thinking of organising . The 1000 naked women’s protest march.
No dresses,  No skirts, No blouses,  No pants, No panties,  No bras, No petties…
Just us! Bring your nak3d breasts. Jiggle your bare ars3. Bring the pain burrowed in your chests. Chant about your empty purse. Write your slogans and protests.
Let’s march against Museveni’s curse!”,part of the poem reads.

While nudity is scorned upon, in several cultures in Uganda, when a woman, especially an elderly woman strips nak3d or exposes br3asts in protest, a curse is believed to haunt the accused usually leading to death.

The unusual defence mechanism was recently deployed in Amuria as women staged a nud3 demonstration, at some points rolling in the ground while lamenting or cursing in a dramatic protest to wade off suspected land grabbers.

The protest is a common signal of distress especially in Acholi region, a weapon deployed by women who are usually helpless. In this case, the accused covers their face and walks away from the scene as fast as possible.
