President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this morning addressed legislators at the annual National Prayer Breakfast that is ongoing at Hotel Africana. During his brief address, Museveni urged Ugandans to look unto God rather than lawmakers whom he stated ‘have no real oversight’.

“When you talk about oversight, do not think about these MPs.  Think about God because He is the real oversight. God is looking at you, seeing whatever lie you tell and whatever you do,” Museveni stated.

Quoting the scriptures, he stated that the value of hard work will always be evident.

“What you sow, is what you reap. If you cannot be trusted with the small, you cannot be trusted with the big.”

The National Prayer Breakfast is an annual prayer day right before Independence Day dedicating Uganda to the Lord.
