The talk of a nationmal dialogue is making rounds in the corridors of power. As the posssibility gains momentum, a section of opposition politicians threatened not to attend and set stringent  terms and conditions.

“The idea of the national dialogue came from the elder’s forum, inter-religious council and the civil society. The NRM that I speak for is an open-ended organization that welcomes everyone to the table, all the people who have no ideas will run away,” he stated.

Earlier this week, Maggie Kigozi revealed that the national dialogue is still on course and the committee is working on the agenda that will be known to everyone.

About whether President Museveni be part the dialogue as the head of state, she said; “We look at the national dialogue as the Uganda national dialogue. Uganda has a head-of-state and he will launch the dialogue. After the launch, the position of the head-of-state is nullified to the position of a Ugandan.”
