In Uganda, it is a common habit to incriminate saved personalities when found anywhere near happening places especially night clubs. However, our neighbours in Tanzania have moved a step forward to making night clubs ‘holy.’

According to the East African Newspaper, Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Paul Makonda instructed nightclub owners in the capital to allocate 30 minutes to Church leaders interested in frequently conducting preaching sessions at their venues.

“I don’t expect any objection,” Makonda reportedly said during his visit to Kawe in Dar es Salaam, where he attended the Sunday service at a worship centre.

He said his regular visits to night clubs showed him that Tanzanians been having fun without observing the existence of God.

“Servants of God who want to preach in night clubs are allowed to do so, at least for half an hour to take the word of God to the citizens. They shouldn’t say they were unaware; follow them there,” Makonda said.

Makonda added that the new move must be put in practice starting next week.

“You are allowed to preach for at least 30 minutes in nightclubs,” he said.

Imagine being in club rabadubbing a curvaceous hot chic with Drake’s ‘come closer’ playing then a pastor starts telling you to “come closer” to God. People will be converted, if you know what we mean.
