The world is full of evil behaviours. Zinhle Maditla, a mother of four children in South Africa is facing murder charges of her own children. Maditla admitted before court yesterday to feeding her four children with rat poison.

According to the prosecutor, Maditla was lured into committing the crime after allegedly discovering that the father of two of her children was having an affair with another woman.

The pre-sentencing report indicates that the 25-year-old mother was then stressed about how she would take care of her children as a single and unemployed mother of four.

The decomposing bodies of 8-year-old Minenhle, 6-year-old Blessing, 4-year-old Shaniqua and 11-month-old Ethan were found wrapped in blankets on December 30 last year.

Maditla took the stand for the first time, to ask the court for mercy. She told court she regrets what she did. She said she can’t sleep at night because of her guilty conscience. Her sentence will be heard this Friday.
