Last month this website reported that Next Media/NBS Television’s top reporter, Joseph Sabiiti was bound to leave the media house after landing a lucrative deal with an NGO. This was after Sabiiti had handed in his resignation letter to the Next Media CEO Dr Kin Kariisa.

The fresh development confirms that Sabiti was finally given green light to adventure greener pastures. As we report now, Sabiiti is the new Communication Officer at Action Aid International Uganda.

An hour ago, Sabiiti update his Facebook status saying, “Started new job today at Action Aid International Uganda.”

However, before that he earlier this week posted on his various social media platforms.

“My break from active Journalism starts today! Thank you all for the support, encouragement and criticism they made it worth it, to NBS TV thank you and you will always be home!!” he posted.

Sabiiti had caught the public attention because of his magnificent political commentary and it is no surprise Action Aid was genuinely attracted hence quickly cutting his television career short.
