Embattled Presidential Advisor on media Tamale Mirundi has applauded Bobi Wine’s influence in the recognition of musicians by President Yoweri Museveni.

Tamale says the forces that Bobi Wine has gathered in a short time influenced President Museveni to look down to musicians.

“Bobi Wine has elevated the status of musicians,” says Tamale Mirundi.

According to Tamale, the best people to make Museveni’s 2021 elections manifesto are the musicians because they know exactly what people want.

“If you want to win elections in Uganda, have a musician as an advisor,” he claims.

Tamale also believes that Museveni’s decision to have artistes as advisors will enable very many musicians to go to Parliament. He says Ugandans are realizing that musicians can positively influence their future since they know best what is happening on ground.

Tamale’s submissions come at a time when the music industry is playing a very big role in the politics of Uganda, and several musicians are warming up for political offices in the upcoming 2021 general elections.
