Bar owner in Ntinda reportedly kills female customer who got drunk and tried to undress in his bar

A yet-to-be indentified woman has been confirmed dead from injuries sustained after a brawl at Ntinda-based bar, Unique Meeting Point. According to a witness, the deceased who was drunk tried to undress but one of the workers at the hangout spot attempted to stop her.

However, the customer refused which made the worker to react by hitting her with a cue an action that sparked off a fight between them.

As they exchanged punches, Deus Bakankwasa, the owner of bar reached the premises and allegedly just joined the battle that left the customer badly injured.

The witness further said that before they could rush the injured client to the nearby health facility for first aid, they noticed she had already died during the scuffle.

Ntinda Police was contacted, but according to the witness, it came hours later, made arrests and drove the body to Mulago Hospital for a postmortem.

Residents around the bar premises said it is not the first time Bakankwasa is involved in a fight with his clients. One woman claimed how Bakankwasa once hit her with a hammer for not obeying to his orders.
