Four-time Presidential aspirant Dr Kizza Besigye has expressed his unwillingness to leave the front seat of the struggle that aims at putting President Museveni’s three decade rule to an end.

Speaking at the 15 year-celebration of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party held at Namboole Stadium today, Besigye who is the founder and first president of FDC said he has to either effect the transition of power from Museveni or die fighting.

“I will retire from the struggle when the struggle is over or when I’m over,” Besigye said.

Besigye said FDC is on the right course of the struggle as they have managed to expose all the dirty architects of the regime. He further explained that their mission is not only to expose but they have to reach the final stage that is taking power from Museveni.

The ‘People’s Government’ President said the opposition should not fight for positions at this stage of the struggle as they will freely and fairly choose their leaders after ousting Museveni.
