Faded singer Ibrahim Mayanja alias Big Eye continues to communicate his plans of holding a peaceful demonstration walk to Bobi Wine’s home in Magere on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Big Eye will be marching to Magere to deliver a letter asking Bobi Wine to talk to his People Power supporters who he claims are acting a block to him getting performance deals.

Earlier today, Big Eye has gone ‘live’ on his known Facebook account to explain more on his intended demonstration. The singer has revealed how he is not in any kind of comedy but rather advocating to regain his rights of freely doing his job.

Big Eye says unlike Bobi Wine who is ‘lawfully’ being denied to step on local stages; the singer claims that for his case it is a circle within People Power that is influencing promoters not to book him for any show.

“Bobi Wine is being ‘lawfully’ denied to stage concerts but for my case I am being witch-hunted by his People Power supporters,” says Big Eye.

The singer further states that Bobi Wine cannot extensively feel the pain of not being on stage as he has other sources of income.

“He is a Member of Parliament who earns salary besides, he has other business,” claims Big Eye.

He adds, “I have a family to feed and lots of people depend on my music career which I am currently not exercising. I want Bobi Wine to stop his people.”

On his choice of matching to Magere, Big Eye says it is the only place he thinks guarantees him confidence that Bobi Wine will receive the letter.

Big Eye late last week wrote to the Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola asking for permission to let him and about other one hundred people to hold a peaceful demonstration.

According to the letter, the demonstration will have them walk from Calendar Guest house in Makindye to Bobi Wine’s home in Magere starting at 11am.
