If you have someone that is always on your case and you have totally failed to make them back off, you can employ the services of the Ugandan Police as they have, over the years, accumulated a wealth of experience in blocking almost everything. Their biggest priority of things to block is meetings organized by opposition politicians.

This morning, the Fore blocked a meeting that was organized by Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) officials led by Rubaga Division Mayor Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo.

The meeting that was slated to be held at Home Land Organic Gardens at Gwaniika village, Nabingola Sub County, Kasambya constituency in Mubende was organized to forge a way FDC can establish their leadership at the village level in preparation of the upcoming 2021 general elections.

“Some elements in the security agencies continue to abuse the Ugandan Constitution by blocking the right to assemble by Ugandans in a bid to protect the interests of a junta regime,” a statement from the official FDC Facebook page partly reads.
