We realize that it is difficult for us to admit that church is a business but Pastor Augustine Yiga aka Abizaayo of Revival Church Kawala is very okay referring to church as a business entity.

While speaking in an interview about the Presidential directive of banning all religious gatherings in the country for the next 32 days due to Coronavirus scare, Pastor Yiga said their church ‘business’ has been greatly affected. Yiga revealed that it is from their flock that they get what to eat.

“I know some pastors are going to pretend but church is a business and when it is closed we are greatly affected because we can lack what to eat,” Yiga said.

Yiga explained that churches offer the same services people pay money for in society.

“We pray for people and they heal and as a sign of appreciation they pay us money,” he said.

He added, “Like how prostitutes wear mini-skirts and go on the streets to get customers, we as church do the same to attract masses.”
