On Wednesday last week, President Yoweri Museveni made an address about Coronavirus where he banned a series of gatherings across the country but during the course of the week security officials have been seen chasing after individuals who have failed to adhere to the President’s directives.

Four-time Presidential candidate, Dr Kizza Besigye has for this reason hit at those defying government directives on Coronavirus. Besigye labelled them ‘useless’ before wishing them to land in the hottest part of hell.

“God will forgive those who are ignorant but if you get the message and in spite of that you do everything to negate it, then you are the most dangerous person. You just go to the hottest part of hell,” Besigye said.

Being a doctor by profession, Besigye urged Ugandans to be mindful of their health in this Coronavirus situation.

“Smokers and heavy drinkers should be helped to stop because these greatly affect immunity. One of the least things known to reduce immunity is sugar. Please reduce sugar intake,” he said.

He also called upon government to draft a plan that can help people who are losing their livelihood in this situation.
