As the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Uganda remains stable and the infections curve stays somewhat flat for dyes now, the number of recoveries keeps rising which has made Ugandans have more trust in the Ministry of Health amidst this pandemic.

Today, the one COVID-19 patient who has been receiving treatment at Adjumani Hospital has been discharged after testing negative twice for the disease after undergoing 14 days of treatment.

The patient has been discharged by the State Minister in charge of Primary Health Care, Dr Moriku Joyce Kaducu, who said, “I am pleased to officially discharge the 57-year-old at Adjumani Referral Hospital who has now tested negative for COVID-19. We look forward to safe social reintegration of the recovered patient, as we intensify prevention among host and refugee communities in the district.”
