With the country currently in the phases of easing lockdown, Archbishop of Kampala Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has asked Government to open up places of worship.

While leading today’s mass at Rubaga Cathedral, Archbishop Lwanga said Uganda’s motto is For God and my country, so worship centres are the only places where people can run to, to seek God’s guidance, protection and intervention in these hard times.

He said though he is pushing for the opening up of these holy places, health guidelines should be maintained.
