Kawempe North Councillor, Muhammad Ssegirinya alias Mr Updates has been elected as the new Chairperson of Public Health in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA). Immediately he was handed the office, Ssegirinya issued new guidelines.

Being a People Power fanatic, Ssegirinya has promised to provide free People Power facemasks to all the entire KCCA medical staff. He revealed how he has already stocked them in his office.

Ssegirinya has also proposed for revised packages for all medical staff as he noted that; “Reporting hour is 8:00 am daily. KCCA ambulances to work 24 hours, ambulance drivers to receive fresh training, all supervisors in municipalities to receive salary increment and allowances, treatment in all KCCA health centres to be free of charge and all staff to receive overtime and risk allowance.”
