Kenyan media personality Jeff Koinange has revealed that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Koinange took to his Twitter page to break the news this Monday, saying he was asymptomatic and that he was doing well.
Koinange, a journalist with Citizen TV in Kenya, who previously worked with global broadcaster CNN said his family members were fine.
“All my close contacts have been informed. Right now I’m in self isolation,” he said, and thanked his employer, Royal Media Services, for support.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Kenya as of today, July 20, is 13,771.
