Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has confirmed six positive cases of COVID-19. According to the official statement by UNRA, five of the six confirmed cases are staff at their headquarters at Nakawa Business Park while the one other case is a staff at UNRA Masindi station office.

“UNRA management took a decision to conduct testing of staff for COVID-19 as a proactive measure to detect and prevent the spread of the virus and to offer adequate support to staff in timely manner.

Upon confirmation of the cases, management together with Ministry of Health have since rolled out the respective incident management protocols and much needed health support system that will include psychosocial services to our affected members of staff currently under medical care,” reads UNRA’s statement in part.
