Sad news coming in indicates that four men with machetes and guns have attacked government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo’s home in Mukono.

“I am out of home and lost contact with family members. Police should be about there now. Lost contact with my family. Attackers said to be many in number, have entered my house and into the bedrooms. My family under danger, Opondo said in a tweet while breaking the news.

However, in his opening remarks on the NBS TV Frontline, Opondo said the family is out of danger as police quickly swung into action. He says they are currently searching the entire area.
