Following this afternoon’s raid by a beefed up security team on National Unity Platform offices in Kamwokya, the party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi has confirmed that different valuables and materials including, red berets, People Power uniforms, CCTV footage, computers, branding material and documents endorsing Bobi Wine for presidency have been taken by security teams.

Earlier this week, NUP party revealed how they had garnered over seven million signatures supporting Bobi Wine’s candidature for the country’s top office. Ssenyonyi says they will be back to the field to recollect the signatures ahead of the nomination date.

He adds that their legal team has also taken up the matter as another alternative of how they can recover their documents amongst other items that have been taken.
