Bobi Wine postpones manifesto launch to Saturday

With the untimely death of senior political analyst Sheikh Anas Kalisa that occurred yesterday, Bobi Wine who was set to launch his manifesto this Friday at his party offices in Mbarara has postponed the event to Saturday November 7.

“In light of the untimely death of senior leader, Sheikh Anas Kalisa who will be buried this Friday in Ntungamo, we have ostponed our manifesto launch to Saturday Novvember 7 to enable our senior leaders including myself to participate in the funeral,” stated Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine also said the Manifesto is scheduled to take place in Mbarara,Kakoba Division and they have accordingly notified the Electoral Commissiuon and Uganda Police.

Early this week Bobi Wine who was duly nominated to run for Presidency on his party ticket National Unity Platform  in the forthcoming elections  was blocked by the Police from heading to his party headquarters in Kamwokya where he was scheduled to launch his manifesto.

According to the Electoral commission the Presidential elections are slated to take place on January 14,2021.
