Following the endless brutality at the hands of the security forces especially police, the National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters have decided to start a fundraising campaign to buy their presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine an armored vehicle.

In a poster shared by Swengere, a NUP coordinator Eastern region, he explains that their ‘President’s’ life is in danger especially when he’s on a campaign trail and needs to protection by gifting him an armored vehicle.

Bobi Wine’s V8 Landcruiser was yesterday shot at by security forces in Jinja damaging his windscreen and tyres. The presidential hopeful decided to suspend his presidential campaigns and engage in a meeting with the Electoral Commission boss Justice Simon Byabakama. The meeting is scheduled to happen today at 11am.
